Since 2009!! (16 yrs ago) Well, at least that was my first official sale on Etsy, thanks to my Aunt Danielle who suggested that my items are worth something! Plus, I was able to create while staying home with my small children. She at the time was getting into working with clay / ceramics, and needed some small crocheted rugs for her cat creations (top left). Danielle has since been able to grow her creations and ventured out on her own, you can find her work here: SMALLWILD
While the items pictured below are just a few of the many items I've sold over the years it does bring me back! All the crocheted and cross-stitched creations I was able to make no matter what was going on. Traveling, taking kids to parks, watching T.V..
At the time we were living in Maryland with some very chilly weather. This is when my creations progressed to flannel toddler bedding!! I love flannel sheets and wanted to be sure my kids could stay snuggled up in their crib and toddler beds, but was discouraged with not being able to ever find any. So, I made them! I made many, many flannel toddler bed sets as I quickly discovered I wasn't the only one wanting something that wasn't available in stores.
However, such is life that as the kids grow and changed so did my creations and more life changes. Like moving to Idaho, kids getting older and being involved in a lot more activities, Oh, and a major change of me working full-time teaching!
Now, with life "leveling out" I am looking forward to being able to get more creating in!
Have you purchased from Craft Me Crazy before?
Yes!
No, but I hope to in the future!
No, I haven't seen anything I'm interested in.
With the help of my 5th grade students who have LOVED!!! "buying" these in our class store, I now offer them to you!... unfortunately, I can't pay you for participation during lessons, so I accept cash 'n cards.
Thank you!!
I could never express enough appreciation for all those that boosted my confidence in supporting my creativeness! I hope you join me again in getting back to my creative roots.
